Beaconsfield has 5 Men's and 3 Ladies teams that play in the Bucks County Squash League. Teams comprise 5 players (Men) and 4 players (Ladies) who play in ranked order against other squash club teams across Bucks. Matches are played home and away most weeks from September to March. Whilst matches are competitive on-court, off-court the social side is a priority.
Beaconsfield Squash Club is probably the strongest and most successful club in the county with several players representing Bucks in Inter-County matches at Senior and Masters levels (Over 35/45/50/55 age groups).
There are several generous sponsors for the club teams, providing shirts for team players and food for matches. Sponsors are:
Division 1 - The Lions are the club's first team, captained by Nic Manley
There are three teams in Division 2, split strength across the teams:
The Tigers - captained by Gareth Ashington.
THe Bulls - captained by Joe Budzynski
The Trojans - captained by Mike Chapples.
Three ladies teams play in Bucks Division 1 and 2
Ladies 1st is captained by Sue Adams
Ladies - Stripes is captained by Janette Wilkinson
Ladies - Spots is captained by Leona Mcnamee
Do please try and find the time to support the team matches when you can. They are good fun and the players enjoy the support (and occasional banter) from the balcony in recognition of their efforts.

The teams are always on the look out for new 'young blood' to represent the club so feel free to contact one of the team captains or Club Captains Joe Budzynski and Kathi Taylor if you wish to be considered for the teams. Playing in the internal leagues, as well as challenging team players is a great way to get yourself in the frame.
